
Biography
Samuel L. Pappas has over thirty-five years of experience in the areas of commercial finance, banking, and commercial real estate transactions. He has experience representing various lenders, borrowers, and other institutional clients. Sam has practiced in various law firms and was also an in-house transactional attorney for several banks and financial services companies, including BankFinancial, Parkway Bank & Trust Company, Transamerica Finance Corporation, Bank One (JP Morgan Chase Bank), and The Asahi Bank, Ltd. (a Japanese bank).
Sam has worked extensively on various types of credit facilities, including secured and unsecured loans, construction loans, bridge and mezzanine loans, syndications, large loan securitizations, as well as equity investment transactions. He has handled transactions involving virtually every type of real estate including hotels, apartment complexes, office facilities, industrial facilities, and shopping centers. He is also experienced in the areas of real estate purchases, sales, commercial leasing, and workout activities.
Sam also provides legal services to middle market companies, entrepreneurs, and various other private entities.
